Telephony has become a commodity, and market consolidation will most likely accelerate. In many cases, there is feature parity among solutions, making it hard to distinguish what separates the competitors. While thorough needs analysis can bring out differences that drive decisions, essentially consultants are being used to mitigate risks. There’s nothing wrong with that, but this approach does not achieve the full potential of the technology. To make the big impact, we must solve business problems. This session takes a look at this approach by analyzing common issues within vertical industries, and how technology can make an impact by solving business problems.
